Scout Honour

Colchester MP Bob Russell has been honoured with the presentation of a framed certificate to mark his ten years as Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Scout Group.

The presentation was made at the House of Commons by the Chief Scout, TV personality Mr Peter Duncan.

In his youth Mr Russell was a member of the 35th Colchester (1st Myland) Scouts with whom he gained the Queen's Scout and Duke of Edinburgh's Gold awards.
